GaussMaster
The GaussMaster measures the level of EMF magnetic field radiation. This is a very popular EMF meter among ghost hunters. EMFs occur in modern technology from power lines and cell phones and are also thought to be present in the energy emitted from paranormal entities. It is seen often on various paranormal TV shows, such as Ghost Asylum.
How Does it Work?
The GaussMaster is hand held, lightweight and durable with two easy to read scales. From 0 to 10 milliGauss (mG), which is the most common way of using the meter. If you want to measure very subtle EMFs, then hold the button pressed and measure EMFs between 0 to 1 mG. The meter creates a buzzing sound starting at 2 mG. The buzz gradually changes to a higher and higher pitch. Man-made EMFs will almost always create a steady reading. Paranormal activity is erratic and will cause the needle to suddenly spike, often repeatedly.
How to Use
The meter is activated through one push on the button and switches itself off automatically after about 2 minutes. Then you push the button again.
