Para4ce PMB POLTERTUNE
Everyone who has used a Para4ce PMB Paranormal Music Box absolutely loves it and is amazed with the amount of activity it registers. That is the original PMB. Those on a tighter budget might want to consider the Poltertune instead. It doesn't sport the gorgeous wood and aluminum coffin shaped body and it does not have the old-fashioned type of music box movement. But it does perform the same function of alerting of all movements using the same technology as the "original PMB". However, this version of the PMB has a neat benefit that in that it does not have to remain stationary. Also, it does not have to be calibrated before starting a session. It comes in a 1.5 m and 1 m version. If you plan to walk around with the PMB - we recommend the 1.0 m version.
The PMB Poltertune is built in the USA using high quality components. It is a phenomenal instrument that delivers results. It is the budget version of the PMB Paranormal Music Box which has been featured on TV’s Ghost Adventures and become an absolute favorite for investigators everywhere. Entities seem to be drawn to a music box that they can set off, making the PMBs extremely effective trigger objects.
How Does it Work?
The PMBs are sensitive to a person's/animal's skin temperature, in contrast to room temperature. No energy is emitted from the sensor, so it will not interfere with EMF detectors. A steady green light tells you when the Poltertune is switched on. When anything seen or unseen passes in front of the Poltertune, the red LED lights up and a creepy tune will play. This makes it very easy to know when something is present!
The Poltertune version requires no calibration, so you can carry it around to investigate. However, you have to be careful not to “run into” any objects within the range or it will trigger the Poltertune. The musical movement is electric and very sturdy. This is a quality hand-built piece of equipment. Made locally in St. Augustine, FL, U.S.A.

Suggestions:
If you plan on investigating in smaller spaces or primarily use as a handheld, the 1 meter POLTERTUNE decreases the risk of false positives. It is important to distance the Poltertune properly, if the Poltertune is placed closer than the range of the beam, it will play continuously.
Batteries and Battery Compartment:
Works absolutely perfectly
This should be a must have in your ghost hunting arsenal! I’ve used this on several investigations and it works flawlessly.
I have two and just ordered a third- I use this for yes and no answers with spirit and the music is less harsh on my ears (they are sensitive) then some other equipment I have… this product has never let me down… I can put one in different rooms and ask spirit to play it or use one box for yes and one for no… etc … it’s endless on how you can use these as tools… my favorite so far!
I’ve used this piece of equipment twice now, it’s easy to use for myself as an amateur and the spirits as well. I’ve had quite a bit of interaction with spirits responding to my questions including when I asked them if they liked this piece of equipment. I received a positive response! I highly recommend!
I used this twice in the investigations. Got nothing the first time. The second time, it went off but nobody was in front of it.
I like the build quality. It feels solid.
I'm Deaf, so I can't say anything about the music, but I'm sure it sounds good according to other reviews.
The only one thing I would change is the light that lights up when detecting motion. Since it's red, it's sort of hard to see in the dark, especially for Deaf ghost hunters like me. I think it would be better if it was white, like the original PMB.
Overall, it's a great tool.
