Full Spectrum Sony CX405

The Full Spectrum Sony CX405 camcorder is modified for ghost hunting, UFO spotting and the like. This camcorder has been modified to see the full light spectrum from UV to IR and the visible light in between.

How Does it Work?

Full spectrum vision is important to paranormal research due to the fact that it will capture images that are invisible to the human eye. It records in high speed even in normal recording mode. Not all camcorders will record in high speed but the Sony CX405 can record at 60p/50p, which is the equivalent of 60/50 frames per second giving a higher chance of capturing the paranormal.

Features:

  • 1920x1080 Full HD
  • 2MO Exmor R CMOS Sensor
  • 8mm wide angle Carl Zeiss Lens
  • 27x Optical/54x Clear Image Zoom

Full Spectrum Information

These Professional Cameras are converted for Paranormal Research, Forensics, Artistic and Astronomy applications. By photographing within the invisible light waves, we can capture that which we cannot see. A special glass for the retrofitting of the cameras is used in order to achieve the full spectral sensitivity of the CMOS sensor. The clear glass that is used is a precision, optically polished, special glass. This glass is mainly used to compensate the optical path of the removed original filter of the camera. Furthermore, it prevents dust from falling directly on the sensor, which may cause image defects. The glass has no filter effect. It is blocking neither infrared nor ultraviolet light. The transmission is typically higher than 99.7%.

    I love this camera

I ghost hunt often and need a reliable ir camera. I’ve used diy night vision cameras, bought cheap amazon ir cameras and I could never get the audio, battery life and stabilization I needed. This camera has everything I need. I’m so pleased with this.
