I learned about REM POD from watching a ghost hunting program overseas, and it's a very interesting piece of equipment.
When used outdoors, the LED light is small and difficult to see, but when used indoors, the LED light is projected onto the ceiling, making it very easy to see, which is interesting.
When testing REM POD, it will react to a human body at a range of about 5 to 10 cm, but if you bring a plasma ball closer, I think it will react to a range of about 40 cm.
If the general theory that spirits are electrically charged is true, I think it will be able to detect spirits at a range of about 40 cm.
Also, since the range of a single REM POD is small, it is more convenient to have multiple REM PODs for investigations, but purchasing two REM PODs will be quite expensive, so I will also tell you about an inexpensive solution.
Place a plasma ball about 1 meter away from the REM POD and touch the plasma ball, and the REM POD will react.
If a spirit can touch the plasma ball, this will extend the range of the REM POD to about 1 meter. Finally, one thing to note about the REM POD: if you use the included enegizer, it will malfunction and continue to react as the battery runs out.
If you use a rechargeable 9V battery, it will not malfunction. There are many different types of batteries depending on the manufacturer, so it is difficult to say which ones will prevent it from malfunctioning, but if you hear an unnatural beeping sound continuously, you should suspect that the battery is low.
