We are pleased to announce the winners of our June ParaPic contest!

First up with honorable mention is Hector!

Hector and his group joined us for our Dead Walk ghost tour of the creepy dark neighborhoods on the south side of St. Augustine. They felt a strange energy and a weird energy came over them when they were passing this spot in the photo. The house drew their attention and they couldn’t keep their eyes off of it. Right after this the P-SB7 Spirit Box they were carrying said “yes you felt me”. And then Hector felt something on his left and he and called out to his cousin to snap a photo and as you can see in the picture there is an energy orb beside him. Congratulations Hector! We hope you are enjoying your dowsing rods prize!

Our runner up is Lori!

Lori and her group were conducting an investigation in our haunted house when she snapped the following photo. Our team attempted to recreate the shadow several times, with several cameras, lighting, and settings, at different times of day. Nothing close could be recreated. This figure could be that of one of our “permanent residents” that occasionally show up on our SLS camera. Congratulations Lori, we hope you are enjoying your Digital Voice Recorder!

And now for our grand prize winner

Denise Scangarello was on a Deadwalk and was with her group near a seemingly innocent home on Marine Street. She had just heard the story of Athalia Ponsell Lindsley, a local woman who was brutally murdered on her front steps. The murder was never solved. Per Denise: “I remember thinking that it was such a sad story and that it was nice that she has not been forgotten. I also wondered what the family that currently resides there thinks about living in a home where there was a famous murder and no arrest made (and tour groups pass and stare!)” As she hurried to catch up with the rest of the group, she turned and snapped this picture.

Do you see it? Look closer.

The photo on the right is of a young Athalia. Denise’s photo shows the face of a young woman, greatly resembling that of a younger Athalia. It also looks in the paranormal photo as her body is covered - like a sheet - as in the crime scene photo. The angle of the body also corresponds with the crime scene photo.

Thank you Denise for entering the monthly Paranormal Photo contest and congratulations to getting the first spot. We hope you are enjoying your prize - an authentic K2 Meter.
